- Sale Pepe isn’t just great Italian food; it’s one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve ever eaten at – anywhere. It’s fresh and very authentic. The food is outstanding. It’s a bit tricky to find though. If you’re on Front Street near Longhi’s, look for the small street that runs parallel to the Old Lahaina Center. Sale Pepe is on the back side of the Old Lahaina Center. Note: they typically close for the month of June and go home to Italy, so plan ahead.
